Condition Assessor

About the Role

As a Condition Assessor, you’ll carry out detailed inspections of transmission structures, conductors and access routes across the network. Your work will directly support asset management decisions by identifying, recording and prioritising defects while ensuring all inspections meet industry and client standards. You’ll also work closely with internal teams, landowners and stakeholders to ensure accurate information is captured and reported, helping deliver safe and efficient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed condition assessments of transmission structures, conductors and access assets.
• Identify, assess and record defects, ensuring they are accurately prioritised and raised for action.
• Complete asset condition ratings in accordance with relevant transmission standards and specifications.
• Capture and manage inspection data using Matai and other digital asset management systems.
