About the Role
The Component Engineer is responsible for evaluating and qualifying new commercial off‐the‐shelf components for SCIEX Mass Spectrometry instruments, ensuring they meet design, compliance and supply requirements.
They assess technology, supplier capability, lifecycle and availability, then baseline approved components in the Product Data Management system. This role supports both new product development and existing manufacturing to maintain on‑time delivery, collaborating closely with R&D and Supply Chain teams to address component needs and issues.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Component Engineering and is part of the R&D team located in Concord, Ontario, Canada and will be an on‑site role.
