Job Summary
We’re looking to add a/anSenior Commodity Analyst Indirectlocated in Perai, Penang. To lead sourcing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization across indirect spend categories
What a typical day looks like:
Support RFQ process, price analysis, and supplier selection for indirect spend categories
Conduct data analysis on spend, pricing trends, and cost drivers
Assist in negotiations and contract execution with selected suppliers
Maintain and monitor supplier performance and delivery compliance
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, finance) to clarify requirements
Support cost savings, cost avoidance, and inventory optimization initiatives
Analyze and report commodity risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes
