About the Role
The
commissioning specialist
is responsible for technical documentation and commissioning of hydroelectric turbine‑generator units. Working with the Commissioning manager, the commissioning specialist will be reviewing designs, preparing installation manuals, plan‑tooling requirements, performing verification of instruments, commissioning the auxiliaries system and the turbine & generator.
The following responsibilities form the core of this role in our Canadian team.
During the preparation and planning phase:
Support the project execution team on installation and commissioning matters;
Technical governance and customer relations on technical matters;
Enhance Field Services team’s technical excellence through technical support, training and mentoring on best practices, calculations, etc.;
Ensure on‑time delivery of Field Service documentation;
