Commercial Risk Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Commercial Risk Manager to join Sonnedix and help safeguard and optimise our growing portfolio of renewable energy assets across Europe. Reporting to the Group Treasurer and based in Madrid, this newly created role will sit at the heart of our commercial risk framework, providing oversight across power dispatch, PPAs, energy trading activities, and counterparty exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight across power dispatch, PPAs, energy trading activities, and counterparty exposure as part of the commercial risk framework.
• Work at the intersection of finance, legal, and energy markets, translating market complexity into clear risk insights and controls.
• Define and monitor risk KPIs; contribute to contract structuring and hedging strategies; ensure regulatory compliance; and deliver high-quality risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
