About the Role
The Role:
* You will be writing, editing, and modifying complex programs for multi-axis CNC turning machines (typically using controls like Fanuc or Mazak)
* You will be loading materials, selecting tooling, setting offsets, and proving out new programs to ensure components are manufactured safely and to exact specifications.
* You will be interpreting complex engineering drawings and technical route cards.
* You will be using precision measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, and CMMs) to perform first-off, in-process, and final part inspections.
Desirable Experience
* Proven track record in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes.
* Strong capability with industry-standard controls (Fanuc is standard; familiarity with CAD/CAM software like SolidCAM or AlphaCAM is highly advantageous).
