About the Role
A South African company that provides specialized operational support, technology platforms, and business process outsourcing (BPO) to insurers, brokers, automotive manufacturers, and fleet managers is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will ensure the seamless operation, optimization, and security of Microsoft Azure and M365 platforms.
Responsibilities
- Operations & Support: Manage day-to-day Azure/M365 platform health; act as a Tier 3 escalation point for the Global Service Desk.
- Incident & Problem Management: Lead major incident responses, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Engineering & Design: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for global projects.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security hardening (CIS baselines), manage identity controls (PIM/RBAC), and remediate vulnerabilities.
