About the Role
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Ensures the safe and timely delivery of prep product to the customer at the proper temperature and to the proper job site. Returns to assigned plant in a timely manner for additional loads.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
+ Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas
+ Drives truck trailer to transport various heavy equipment used by the contracting division for asphalt and concrete construction projects in a safe, efficient and timely manner
+ Loads and unloads equipment
+ Makes sure equipment is securely fastened to trailer. Communicates truck/job status to dispatch.
+ Responsible for conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operations of trucks.
+ Keeps a driver's log for DOT.Maintains appearance of truck, keeps proper air pressure in tires, checks fluid levelsincluding oil, hydraulic, coolant and fuel. Performs minor repairs to t...
