Class 2 Refuse Driver

Class 2 Refuse Driver (RAC/EA/2DR1) Hedge End, England

Salary: GBP14.3 - GBP15.44 per hour

Berry Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Refuse Drivers to start ASAP for a local authority based at the Hedge End depot.

This is an ongoing role, working Monday to Friday 6am – 1.30pm with an hourly pay rate of £14.30 (increasing to £15.44 after 12 weeks).

This may lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.

You will need to be available to start ASAP and must have the correct licenses including Digi Tachograph and CPC.

Main Duties

• Driving the vehicle around Eastleigh and surrounding areas with a team of refuse loaders
• Sometimes assisting with loading
• Collecting household waste, recycling and special collections
• Customer facing – good customer service is required
• Adhering to health and safety at all times
