Class 1 Driver – Lichfield

We are recruiting Class1 Drivers for a manufacturing company based in Lichfield.

Schedule

Available for morning or night shift, any 4‑hour window between 18:00 and 08:00. Days: any 5 days out of 7, including weekends.

Pay Rates (Pay by day)

• Weekday: £210.00 (£235.30 with holiday pay inclusive)
• Weekend: £235.00 (£264.50 with holiday pay inclusive)

Responsibilities

• Deliver to major RDCs with some multidrop farms, collections, drop and swap.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects, ensuring the vehicle and its load are road‑worthy and safe for other road users.
• Liaise with customers and abide by their rules and regulations while on site.
• Keep the transport team apprised of delivery status and whereabouts.
• Effectively manage driving time to avoid infringements.
