Civil/Structural Engineer

Overview

The Civil Engineering Departments within Candu Energy are engaged in nuclear civil engineering work involving structural analysis, civil design, ageing management to support life extension, plant modification and service work of existing Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) and New Builds. Civil/Structural engineers are required to perform structural and seismic analysis, seismic margin assessment, and structural design as well as prepare and issue analysis, design, and assessment documents.

Role

Your role includes:

• Conduct structural analysis, seismic assessments, design, and ageing management for structural systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations and documentation for steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures.
• Use structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD) to evaluate system performance.
