About the Role

Ventia's on base our Hospitality & Catering team provide on average 1500 meals per month & at most 5000 meals per month. Our team provides Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Monday – Sunday for the Defence base, as well as special events throughout the year, such as high-end functions and catering in location at our two remote training sites for training exercises, camps, etc.


An environment as such creates for a great opportunity for those looking to make a difference in a Chef De Partie / Commercial Cook position and progress their career within a high-profile Defence Contract.

We are offering:

  • A permanent, full-time opportunity, Hobart, Tasmania based

  • Work life balance; our kitchen operates between 6.30am – 7pm for normal meal services (functions and remote site camp catering may be different), and you will generally get every second weekend rostered off, subject to operational requirements and staffing.
