Cath Lab Radiology Technologist II

The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist II is an experienced, fully competent Technologist with specialized training and knowledge of cardiovascular procedures directly related to the Cardiac Catherization Laboratory, Responsible for assisting physicians with highly specialized and complex interventional and therapeutic radiologic procedures including but not limited to: peripheral and coronary angioplasty, stents, rotablators, artherectomy, laser, and coronary ultrasound; electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implantation. A member of the direct patient care team, actively participates and scrubs into Cath Lab cases to assist with the movement and alignment of equipment as well as the control of radiation throughout procedures. Serves as a mentor to Cath Lab Rad Tech I's, Cath Lab RN's and students by utilizing skills and knowledge to help train and educate others.
