Position Summary

We are seeking a Casual Cardiology Technologist at Penticton Regional Hospital in Penticton, BC.

Work Schedule

Days of work: Rotating, Days, Evenings

Shift times: 07:00 to 15:00, 07:00 to 14:42, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:00 to 15:42, 08:00 to 17:30, 11:30 to 21:00, 07:00 to 16:30

Casual means hours are not guaranteed and that days of work and shift times may vary.

Responsibilities

• Perform techniques relating to Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter and event recorders, and pacemaker monitoring, and other types of diagnostic cardiac equipment.
• Explain procedures to prepare patients for testing such as ECG, stress testing, Holter monitoring, pacemaker monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and related tests and answer related questions.
