About the Role
This role is permanent from day one.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join our long stannding client based in Burton-on-Trent, on a permanent basis.
This is a key role responsible for sourcing, selecting and purchasing goods or services as well as ensuring material availability. This role will require strong sourcing, negotiation and communication skills at all levels of the business both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and Selection: Researching and identifying reliable suppliers, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
* Contract Negotiation: Negotiating product prices, quantities, product consolidation, delivery timescales, and exclusivity arrangements to secure maximum ROI.
* Supplier Relationships regarding performance and quality Order Book Management and maintenance of MRP system.
