About the Role

Mimecast is redefining cybersecurity. We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to lead the prospecting of high‑quality leads and support the sales team in closing deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and taking queries from potential clients with the overall goal of generating & maturing leads to be passed off to a sales partner.
  • Screening and qualifying potential business through external methods.
  • Monitoring online forums to answer any customer queries.
  • Identifying and overcoming objections whilst addressing business pain points through high activity.
  • Effective use of Salesforce and various in‑house tools to manage leads.
  • Ability to think outside the square and generate your own leads.
  • Speaking directly with end customers/prospects and articulating the benefits.
