Business Development Representative (BDR) Role Overview The Business Development Representative (BDR) drives new business opportunities across plumbing, electrical, and large‑scale industrial or engineered construction projects. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, relationship development, and early‑stage opportunity qualification with municipalities, utilities, general contractors, engineers, developers, and commercial or industrial clients. The BDR builds the front end of the pipeline by identifying opportunities early, developing trust with technical buyers, and positioning the company for inclusion in bids, negotiated work, and long‑term programs.
