About the Role

Perform high-quality welding on structural steel components to AS 1554.1 standards.

Confidently execute 3G (vertical), 4G (overhead), and 5G (pipe/positional) welds across various material thicknesses.

Carry out crack repairs, plate replacements, wear liner installation , and structural strengthening .

Handle weld preparation, beveling, gouging, and post-weld clean‑up to site engineering specs.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric diagrams, and WPS .

Assist with structural remediation on iron ore plant equipment - conveyors, screen decks, chute work, tanks, and support structures.

Collaborate with fitters, inspectors, and engineers to identify integrity issues and determine repair scopes.
