Bioprocess Engineer Mammalian (USP/DSP)

In order to support our continued growth, Lonza is seeking Bioprocess Engineers with a relevant background in Life Sciences and a passion for Biotechnology to join the Mammalian Business Division in Visp, Switzerland. Candidates may work in Upstream Processing or Downstream Processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on‑time and within given safety and quality standards.
• Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area.
• Lead one or more defined USP areas (e.g. seed train, main cultivation or harvest) for the production of therapeutic proteins with either mammalian or microbial expression systems (Bioprocess Engineer USP).
