Batching Operator

Role Overview

Batching Operator – Location: St. Andrews, New Brunswick. Hours: 10‑hour shift, 4 days a week (2 days – 2 night). Replacement vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated batching systems in a control room, initiating, adjusting, and completing production runs.
• Verify raw materials, lot numbers, and quantities before batches; input or select correct formulas/recipes in the batching system.
• Ensure accurate dispensing, blending, and processing of materials through automated controls.
• Execute operational tasks such as discharge, load, transport, clean, label, and operate equipment to complete production stages.
• Log data and information on production orders and activities in the appropriate systems for complete administration and insight.
• Signal deviations and opportunities for improvement to supervisors, participating in continuous‑improvement projects.
