AVP, Accounting & Financial Controls

About the Role

Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, this position provides oversight and leadership to the company’s financial controls including ICFR (internal control over financial reporting) process, operational accounting, and reinsurance reporting. It maintains and develops the financial control framework to ensure accuracy, reliability of financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, while also providing operational and reinsurance accounting technical support to internal business areas and outsourcing partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the ICFR program, including scoping, risk assessment, key control framework, and remediation oversight
• Coordinate execution of the ICFR program
• Manage internal and external audit coordination and priority setting
