Automation engineer

FunctieomschrijvingAs an Automation Engineer, you will join the onshore infrastructure team based in Antwerp. You will provide technical support in the fields of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation. In this role, you’ll work closely with Technical Superintendents onboard and support ongoing projects to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations in compliance with industry and client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and support the electrical/instrumentation/automation (E/I/A) scope for existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) assets and act as subject matter expert during newbuild projects.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical matters related to E/I/A.

Maintain regular communication with Technical Superintendents, onboard crews, and cross-functional teams to align on operations.

Prepare and review technical specifications for repairs during maintenance or dry-docking periods.
