WSP is currently initiating a search for aa Assistant Resident Engineer out of our New York, New York office Be part of a dynamic, national professional construction management organization, that continues to foster careers, while expanding our client base throughout New York area.

+ Manage inspection and office staff.
+ Responsible for record keeping, correspondence, compiling and delivering of required reports.
+ Ongoing collaboration with clients, contractors/subcontractors, designers, subordinate and support staff.
+ Chair various project meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes.
+ Monitoring contractor performance, scheduling, effectiveness and quality control.
+ Review and approve daily inspection reports and payment quantities in accordance with regional agency requirements.
+ Prepare Change Orders for overruns, changed conditions and additional work.
