Assistant Quality Manager

A leading food production company based in West Cork, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Quality Managerto join their team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, integrity, and quality of products and quality management systems. Key Responsibilities: Full responsibility for managing the quality team and quality operations in the absence of the Quality Manager. Support or lead and run internal, third-party, and regulatory audits independently if the Quality Manager is unavailable, ensuring the plant is audit-ready at all times. Assist in the administration, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Manual, Quality System, and Food Safety Management/HACCP System. Liaise with suppliers and customers on food quality, documentation, specifications, and the efficient resolution of queries or complaints.
