The Assistant Practitioner Therapy role is within the orthopedic therapy team is to assess patients and provide treatment and discharge plans. The role involves working across both elective and trauma patients teams to support patients in their hospital Journey and assist in a rapid and safe discharge. The role is for a dual trained assistant practitioner working closely with physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, and assistant practitioners. The aim is to provide short-term assessments, and plan for discharge from hospital.
A Band 3 to 4 development would be considered
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work 08:00-16:00 across a 7-day service and work within a competency-based framework to manage a caseload of clients.
