Assistant financial controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Controller to join our ESA finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting business growth through strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure timely reporting Perform full P&L and balance sheet reconciliations between ERP and Group systems Manage month-end close processes, including accruals, sub-ledger, and intercompany reconciliations Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, and statutory requirements (PAYE, SHIF, NSSF, Pension, NITA) Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation Assist with VAT returns and tax declarations ...
