Asia Controller

Overview

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Controller (Asia) to oversee financial accuracy, controls and compliance for all Asia Clean Air and Corporate locations. The role supports the Clean Air business and the Corporate Finance function, driving simplification, risk management and the development of the Controllership team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and compliance of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet accounts for all Asia Clean Air and Corporate locations.
• Conduct bi‑annual review for the Filings Assurance process and manage the external audit process.
• Lead and develop the Controllership teams across Clean Air Asia locations.
• Allocate finance resources to maximize return on investment while managing risk.
• Drive and embed simplification initiatives to reduce business inefficiencies.
• Build and maintain robust governance and a strong control environment in line with Group policies.
