Apprentice Design Engineer – Fire Suppression

Location: Bristol. This apprenticeship involves working both from our office and on customer sites, depending on business needs. Johnson Controls, Unit 1 Westpoint Row, Almondsbury, Bristol, BS32 4QG.

It is required to have a GCSE Grade 5 or C in English and Maths, and you must hold a full UK driving licence.

What You’ll Be Up To

• You will join the design department that specialises in creating fire suppression systems for industrial and commercial markets.
• An experienced design engineer will guide you, teaching you the fundamentals of design engineering.
• You will familiarise yourself with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit 3D modelling, and other design‑specific software to gain direct experience in system design.
