Applications Administrator

Purpose The Application administrator is responsible for ensuring availability, reliability, security and optimal performance of corporate systems and applications. S/he will achieve this by conducting daily monitoring, maintenance, user administration, backup processes and configuration optimization of the systems.
S/he will actively resolve systems problems and issues with corporate systems within agreed service levels to minimize business disruptions within the company
Responsibilities
Implement, monitor, and maintain user access controls by ensuring timely provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning of user accounts, conducting periodic user access reviews, and ensuring compliance with the organization's information security policies and audit requirements.
Ensure the % system and user availability of all systems is well above the SLA levels.
Coordinate the external (S/W & H/W) suppliers to ensure they meet their SLA ‘s.
