The role of an Accounts Payable Analyst is to provide financial and administrative support for the organization.
Responsibilities
- The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices/credit memos related to accounts payables.
- They verify invoices and reconcile statements to keep track of any missing invoices and credits owed, and not yet received.
- The accounts payable clerk produces accurate, timely, and valuable work.
- They must pay attention to detail and be able to analyse discrepancies, so that they are resolved in a timely manner.
- The Accounts Payable Clerk works hand in hand with the receiving and supply chain teams to ensure timely resolution of receiving discrepancies.
