Key Responsibilities

• Credit Evaluation: Review and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) of prospective and existing customers.
• Assess credit applications and determine appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
• Pull and interpret credit bureau reports (e.g., D'B, Experian, Equifax Business).
• Risk Assessment: Identify financial, operational, and reputational risks associated with extending credit.
• Monitor existing accounts for signs of deteriorating creditworthiness.
• Recommend account holds, credit limit adjustments, or collection actions when warranted.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed credit reviews and risk assessment reports for management review.
• Maintain accurate records of credit decisions, supporting documentation, and customer correspondence.
