Analog Engineer - SerDes Compliance

How You Will Contribute

Ciena is seeking an Analog Engineer to ensure compliance of our in‑house designed Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) with relevant industry interop specifications such as IEEE and OIF. As part of the Analog Integration team, you will collaborate closely with the Analog & DSP design teams, Firmware teams, and Signal Integrity teams to help productize our SerDes for optimal performance while maintaining compliance.

In This Role, You Will

• Ensure Ciena's in‑house designed SerDes are compliant with all relevant IEEE standards.
• Collaborate with design and integration teams to optimize SerDes performance.
• Run stress tests on high‑speed SerDes, including 112/224G PAM4 SerDes drivers and receivers, to optimize functionality and ensure system integrity.
• Perform detailed testing and analysis to validate SerDes functionality and compliance.
