We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join our Risk Management department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the credit management function, ensuring the company's credit policies are adhered to, and mitigating credit risk.
Tasks and ResponsibilitiesPerform complex credit reviews for rated and non-rated counterparties and recommend credit limits for multiple business units within AltaGas Prepare and distribute credit reports to internal stakeholders Monitor credit exposure against approved limits and proactively work on risk- mitigation options to manage exposures in alignment with credit policy Collaborate with various teams (commercial, operations, finance, treasury and IT teams etc.) to resolve credit issues and disputes Negotiate, execute and administer required financial assurances including letters of credit and parental guarantees Review and negotiate contracts f...
