About the Role
Core responsibilities are divided into three primary phases:
1. Design & Planning- Load Calculations: Determine thermal and energy requirements by analyzing structural specifications and building materials.
- System Sizing: Specify exact requirements for air handling units (AHU), chillers, and ductwork.
- Budgeting: Estimate project costs, generate quotes, and prepare technical specifications for mechanical packages.
- Site Surveys: Visit premises to map the placement of ductwork, pipework, and control panels.
- Project Oversight: Coordinate with architects, construction teams, and craft workers to ensure harmonious system integration.
- Quality Assurance: Supervise the installation process and perform testing to ensure the system operates safely and efficiently.
