Advisor, Laboratory

Advisor, Laboratory supports the accreditation of medical facilities across Alberta by conducting comprehensive assessments in accordance with CPSA policies, procedures, and applicable Accreditation Standards. This role is responsible for coordinating and carrying out all phases of the accreditation process, including pre‑assessment planning, on‑site assessments, and post‑assessment follow‑up activities to ensure compliance with established standards and promote continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and conduct on‑site assessments of designated medical facilities and write assessment reports identifying evidence of best practices, recommendations for improvement and follow‑up actions required to address non‑conformance.
