The Town of Kamsack is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the front office team as a Utilities Clerk.

While focusing on utility billing, this position also performs a variety of tasks from general receptionist duties to cash handling to other bookkeeping functions. It requires a cooperative team attitude, above-average customer‑service skills, attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, knowledge of bookkeeping, and expertise with MS‑Office applications.

Qualifications

  • Excellent public relations and communication skills
  • General office procedure knowledge & understanding
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping processes and applications
  • Office experience
  • Preference will be given to those with:
    • Completion of business courses or graduation from a recognized business school.
    • Working knowledge of the MuniSoft Municipal Software.
