Summary:
We are seeking an Adabas Database Administrator OR an ADABAS Natural Developer who is interested in training as an ADABAS Database Administrator.As an ADABAS Natural Developer you bring mainframe experience and knowledge of the ADABAS Natural Environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for you to broaden your knowledge and skillset.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Database Administration of the ADABAS environments and maintenance of the Software AG and third-party products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain, monitor, and optimise Adabas database systems.
• Perform routine database maintenance, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Plan and implement Upgrades and Maintenance of ADABAS, Natural and all related Software AG and 3rd party products at Vendor supported levels.
