We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with hands‑on experience in tax filing and compliance. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations while ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, percentage tax)
- Assist in compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations and deadlines
- Generate and process invoices, receipts, and journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist in payroll processing and statutory contributions
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies when needed
