Aston Carter's large client in Vancouver is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team! This individual will oversee a team, and will be involved in managing annual and monthly accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and client policies, and liaising with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. Key Responsibilities Direct supervision of 3-4 accounting staff.
Manage annual activities such as property budgets, cash flow forecasting, final operating cost recovery adjustments, annual property taxes, and property audits.
Oversee the completion of monthly activities including month-end closing, cash flows, and monthly reporting.
Review monthly and annual property accounting activities to ensure deadlines, GAAP standards, and client requirements are met.
Coordinate with property site staff, leasing staff, management, and clients.
