Job Summary:



The Manager Accounting is responsible for managing the financial accounting functions of Saint Francis Health System and its affiliates by supervising the day-to-day activities of the financial accounting staff. This role is responsible for the oversight of cash management, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, and budget functions of SFHS and affiliates, ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and accurate reporting of accounting data and its analysis.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Manage daily accounting operations, including preparation of journal entries, check requests, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations. Ensure resolution of discrepancies and evaluate internal controls and process adequacy during review.
