The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and managing the accounting team. This role plays a key part in budgeting, financial analysis, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Handle general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Lead the month‑end and year‑end closing processes
- Coordinate and complete external audits
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
