About the Role
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate accounting records for a portfolio of UAE-based client entities, including free zone companies and mainland LLCs, using accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar).
- Process day-to-day accounting entries: sales, purchases, payroll journals, bank payments, accruals, and prepayments.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and flag unreconciled items for resolution.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for submission to client management.
- Support clean-up of historical bookkeeping backlogs ahead of statutory audit, identifying and rectifying posting errors.
Financial Statement Preparation
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs or full IFRS as applicable, including Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Profit or Loss, Statement of Cash Flows, and accompanying notes.
