Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support government-focused financial operations in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position will play a key role in grant oversight, project closeout, capital asset accounting, and year-end reporting while helping maintain accurate and compliant financial records. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of governmental accounting practices and can work effectively across departments, with external stakeholders, and during audit activities.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the financial closeout of capital and operating projects by reviewing transactions, confirming compliance, and ensuring completion within established timelines.
