What the role is
As part of a team operating and maintaining a test facility for 5G testing and experimentation, the responsibilities of this role include the following:
What you will be working on- Configuring, operating and maintaining several telco-grade 5G RAN platforms and supporting infrastructure in a laboratory environment.
- Performing detailed technical assessment, troubleshooting and analysis of 5G RAN-related technologies/operation.
- Assisting users of the system to familiarize with the experimental platform, 5G RAN architecture and functionality.
- Managing RAN vendors for upgrades/updates of RAN platforms.
- Presenting on 5G RAN-related technical topics to internal audiences.
- Budgeting and administrative tasks for upkeep of laboratory environment, including management of contractor for any maintenance works on the testlab environment.
