• 1:1 support for a pupil in Year 3 who is mute and autistic

The Role

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil who is non‑verbal and autistic. You will help the pupil access learning, follow routines, engage with classroom activities, and feel secure throughout the school day, while feeding back clearly to the class teacher and SENCO. Schools are expected to use a graduated approach to SEND support, and SEN teaching assistants help children with disabilities and special educational needs access learning more effectively.
