Whey Packaging Operator

Job Summary

Compiles samples for lab analysis and record keeping of product. Receives, stores, and distributes items that come into the plant on trucks. Reads production schedule. Position will bag whey and test for product quality.

Essential Functions

Ensures samples are pulled and sent to the lab to maintain the customer desired quality of our product.

Records all sample weights and test results to ensure that the whey is within acceptable guidelines.

Fills bags/totes with product. This includes: checking the computer, placing bag on agar, pushing the start button, maintaining control on release, moving to the scale, and adding or removing product to meet weight requirement.

Operates the Sealer and completes seal verification checks.

Ensures that metal detection procedures are followed.
