SUMMARY:
A food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a Supervisor to join their team in Cape Town . POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures
- Responsible to meet shift production goals and quality standards
- Responsible for quality control and sample testing
- Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce products within specifications
- Ensure samples are taken to be tested
- Assist in production as necessary
- Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers
- Operate within standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that workplace safety standards are met and that appropriate safety clothes, shoes, hearing protection are used, etc.
- Complete shift paper work accurately and timeously
