Senior WISP Technician

Duties

• Install, Configurate, monitor and upgrade wireless infrastructure, incl wireless controllers, network access systems and guest networks.
• Setup and maintain WI-FI access points (WAPs), radios, antennas, routers, switches and servers
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues, providing level one, two and three support for wireless systems.
• Conduct wireless site surveys, positioning WAPs, testing coverage and optimizing network performance
• Collaborate with IT helpdesk and other technical teams to resolve wireless configuration issues
• Maintain and secure network invironments, radius servers, IP addresses and client security software
• Record and Maintain user support documentation, configuration backups and network reports
• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on fibre broadband and broadband wireless access equipment
