Position Overview

Senior Systems Engineer – Lightspeed LEO System Development (Ottawa, Ontario). Responsibilities focus on defining system-level requirements and architecture for the Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit communication network.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to translate mission requirements into system requirements.
• Manage the development and execution of Change Requests and Change Notices that affect system engineering‑owned requirement documents.
• Provide recommendations on managing gaps in requirements and suggest updates to requirement specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of requirement specifications and management strategies.
• Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding the status, metrics, compliance, and traceability of high‑level system requirements.
