Registered Nurse - Forensic Assessment and Triage Unit

The Complex Care and Recovery Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a full‑time, permanent Registered Nurse to work on the Forensic Assessment Unit.

Responsibilities

As a member of an interprofessional team, you will provide client‑centered, recovery‑oriented psychiatric and general nursing care, ensure security and safety of the client care environment, and practice in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards of practice, CAMH Policies and Practice Model, and the Canadian Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Practice. Working within a primary nursing model, you will perform assessments, develop, implement and evaluate interprofessional plans of client‑care for clients from diverse backgrounds who may be suffering from mental health and addiction problems and who are detained under the Criminal Code or under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Review Board (ORB).
